My first update for 2010

I've never been a very avid blog writer, but I felt like writing a little something to update anyone who cares about this blog of mine! haha

2010 is going to be full of LOTS of changes. I can feel it in the air. 2009 was amazing, and I had so many great experiences. Missouri was a blast, and I am very glad that I stepped out of my Arizona box and took that opportunity! Now, another chapter in my life is about to unfold...

I start the MCC Nursing Program tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow. Why am I online at 11:30 at night? Because I am a ridiculously insane insomniac. Since I got home in December, I haven't worked or done much of anything besides....well, nothing. I've spent the majority of my time with my family, considering all the holidays and time spent away from them. My heart melts for my niece and nephew, and I have taken care of them a lot since I've been home, and I love it! They are so adorable that I can hardly believe I will love my own children even more one day. Coty came to visit the first week of January, and that was so fun! It was neat to finally have him around my family, and show him some of my favorite places in the valley. A week was definitely not long enough, though!

Anyways, back to nursing. I am stoked. Its been a long wait for this. I had been very excited up until I attended orientation last Tuesday...then I became terrified. Ok, maybe that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but only a little bit. It is going to be dang tough, and I will have to successfully pass this semester to avoid waiting another year and a half to start over. So, please pray for me! I am trying not to worry too much, and just take each day at a time. But, I am a worrier. Always have been. So, this coming semester, I probably won't be the "funnest" person to be around. And, I really won't have a life. I will eat, sleep, and breath nursing. This is what I'm supposed to be doing though, so the Lord will help provide a way to accomplish it! A good friend reminded me today that "fear is the opposite of faith", so I am working on ridding myself of that fear! Especially since I am already having dreams/nightmares of what will come! haha.

Oh, and one thing I am VERY happy about is that I now am covered with insurance since I am a full-time student. YAY! I haven't been covered for the past almost two years, so this is great for me. :)

Ah, there's a lot more I could update everyone on. But its late and I better hit the sack. Big day tomorrow!!!
